Industry Competitions - Web/App Design Challenge
Competition: Thursday, April 11, 2024 2:30pm - 3:45pm
Level of Knowledge: Beginner
The world is full of apps, but this competition is designed to showcase a student's ability to build an app to register candidates for an event and graph a series of data from survey questions they receive.
Apps will be built on the Wix platform in order to provide consistency in knowledge and an environment for creativity.
How will it work?
On Thursday, April 11, the specific task for a web design will be provided at the conference and online. Each team will have one day to complete a fully functional website using the tools, components and features of www.wix.com. The team that builds to best and most creative website will win this competition.
Team Setup: There will be teams of up to 2 people.

NOTE: Each team is recommended for each team to practice setting up a free website on Wix and gain familiarity prior to the challange.

All participants are strongly encouraged to attend Thursday's industry training sessions for the competitions in the afternoon for training and pre-qualification for the competitions
