Applied Physics Laboratory (APL)
Students will get a chance to see what real scientist do in laboratories and how engineers use science develop some of the most interesting products we use on a daily basis. This visit will involve an experience with augmented and virtual reality for students, while having the opportunity to interact with engineers for problem solving for any ideas with their projects!
Students will experience the following:
- Engineering Laboratory
- Augmented Reality / Virtual Reality
- Careers in Physics, Engineering and Information Technology
Global Air Media (Drones - Aerospace)
Students will have an opportunity gain exposure to drone development and experts who use drones in the field for rescue efforts such as in Puerto Rico and other disasters. In addition, students will learn how to develop a career in drone development for various uses in the community.
Students will have a lot of fun on this visit, as they will learn and receive a hands-on demo on flying drones during this experience!
Students will experience the following:
- Drone Development
- Drone Demonstrations and Hands-On Flying
