Located in the northern side of Prince George's County, Maryland and midway between Washington, D.C., and Baltimore on the Patuxent River, Laurel is home to many established businesses, beautiful homes and an integrated community that intersects three counties: Prince George's, Howard and Anne Arundel.
There is current and projected economic growth in the City of Laurel. With the addition of Route 200 (Inter-county Connector) leading from Gaithersburg to Laurel, the new Town Centre at Laurel and the Konterra Project bringing the largest outlet mall on the East Coast to Laurel, the economy is projected to boom and bring a substantial amount of new business to the area. In addition to the mixed demographic of cultures, the opportunities are endless for a central, cost-effective center to host a number of community and corporate events.
